A woman in Alaska is home licking her wounds after a kicking scrape with a moose in downtown Anchorage, according to the Anchorage Daily News. The moose was feeding on the leaves of trees in a local park when the woman tried to the pet the animal. When she got too close, the moose kicked her in the chest and shoulder.

Never approach moose or any other wild animals. If you do live in moose country, it won't hurt to read this advice from Glacier National Park on how to prevent and survive a moose attack.
