The 49-year old son of Hall of Fame boxing promoter, Bob Arum, has been missing since Sunday, the LA Times reports.

John Arum, an environmental lawyer and experienced climber, "failed to return from a weekend trip to climb Storm King mountain northeast of Seattle," Inquirer Sports said. Searchers found his backpack and a day pack on Wednesday, but have discovered no other signs of the hiker. The search will continue, but searchers are worried about this weekend's forecast of cloudy, cooler weather

Bob Arum is the founder of Top Rank Boxing, a Las Vegas-based boxing promotions company. He was in the middle of promoting the Pacquiao-Margarito tour when he left upon learning of his son's disappearance.
