The North Face recently released a new iPhone app designed to help users find trails for hiking, mountain biking and over a dozen other activities, Mashable reports.

The app, entitled Trailhead, pulls its routes from, a database with over 350,000 trips around the world. The trails are searchable by proximity (determined by the iPhone's GPS or by zipcode), activity, distance and ratings. The phone's GPS can also be used to record a route in real-time, and to measure speed, elevation and distance.

You can download the free app here.
