On May 20th, the Obama administration will announce a revamped salmon plan for the Columbia and Snake Rivers, according to wildsalmon.org. Some environmentalists worry the plan might not significantly alter the George W. Bush administration's 2008 decision which concluded that salmon could be kept alive on the Columbia and Snake rivers without removing dams or significantly increasing water flows. The Obama administration altered this decision in 2009 but kept key findings in place. For those who wish to share their opinion, an online petition is available at Save Our Wild Salmon.
