Weekend Travel Tote Perfection

I was just made an aunt four times over--and I will soon be departing to the East Coast to greet the newest of my sister's brood. So I need something with function and fashion--something I can take on a plane, take to the park or the pond, and stash in the guest room for safe keeping-- but can take a beating if discovered by sticky fingers. That is why I am going to pack my Ellington Hannah Tote to the brim for my weekend trip. Made from Ellington's signature Matte Italian Leather (soft like buttah), this beautifully waffled tote can handle my lap top, a good book, and my personal essentials, but is small enough that it doesn't look like a gussied--up duffel bag draped across my body. The Hannah Tote has a nice middle pocket (zipper and all) for my plane ticket and I.D. and a small zip outer pocket for quick and easy access to snacks, cell phone or camera. Made with incredibly durable leather, and tons of smart features, function nearly trumps fashion, but just nearly.    Knowing that my bag can survive a weekend of travel (and a weekend of tromping through the woods with my oldest nephew, stashing snacks and wipes for my sis, and my take-no-prisoners approach to packing) I am definitely planning on using this as my weekend tote from here on out--beach, ski, woods--my Ellington can take it all.
