Bad weather has kept north side teams at base camp. Team Jordan did go out for a hike yesterday, although high winds blew their tents away from camp for a brief time, according to their Facebook page. The team will decide whether to move up to advanced base camp in the next day.

Other north side teams have reported there may be a weather opening on May 16-17  and again from May 23-26. We'll keep you up to date if and when Team Jordan makes the summit push.

For more on Jordan Romero, the 13-year-old attempting to become the youngest to summit Everest and the Seven Summits, check out Bruce Barcott's April feature.
