Jordan Romero is now at Chinese base camp. He and the rest of Team Romero left Tingri, Tibet after a two day stay. They traveled five hours on a dirt road to reach the north side base camp.

Team Jordan will now spend the weekend acclimating to the new altitude (app. 17,000 ft). As soon as they start moving, we'll let you know. In the meantime, check out Bruce Barcott's April profile of 13-year-old Jordan, who is attempting to become the youngest person to summit Everest.
