Lance Armstrong was interviewed by Spanish newspaper El Pais today. In the interview, Armstrong was asked whether or not he could beat Contador in this year's Tour de France,  Reuters reports.

His reply?

"It doesn't look to be in my favor...(but) we'll go to the race and see who is best," Armstrong said.

Armstrong added that it wasn't essential that he come out with a victory at the tour. Team Radioshack is currently riding the Paris-Nice, where rider Gert Steegmans broke his left collarbone in the prologue.
