Listen up, AT fans. The Great Himalaya Trail is a 2,800-mile trek through five countries, and it's opening next year. So far, Nepal is the only country to have completed its section, but the others are expected to finish before the trail's official opening.

Once completed, the trail will go through China, Bhutan, Nepal, India, and Pakistan. World Expeditions is already taking reservations to hike the entirety of the trail in 151 days. For those not ready to make that kind of commitment, the company does offer expeditions on individual portions of the trail.

Want to see pictures? Check out the trail's Facebook page. It has some great photo albums.
