Olympic Skeleton Athletes Seek Edge With Science

Planning on watching the Olympic Skeleton events scheduled for today and tomorrow? When you see the US team hit the track, they're doing so with an added advantage. As they prepared for the 2010 games, the team traveled to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York to train in a wind tunnel.

Timothy Wei and others at the institute were able to measure drag on a variety of gear and suits, allowing the team to be at its fastest for the competition.
