Our new favorite obscure adventure sport: Parahawking.  The Himalayan Raptor Rescue currently organize 'sky safaris' to raise money to protect over 80 local birds of prey and other endangered species that live in the mountains of Nepal.  The HRR has trained raptors to fly next along side the paragliders since 2001. Flights cost $150 and are based out of Pokhara, Nepal.
