Sam Wench, an unsponsored Australian junior pro surfer, has won Oakely's Pro Jr Global Challenge at Bali's Keramas. After his sponsorship was dropped last year, Wench qualified for the Challenge as an alternate on his own, winning the first place of $20,000. "It's the first and obviously the biggest win of my professional careerand it couldn't have come at a better time," Wrench told after the win."The field here was so strong and we have surfed perfect waves allweek. It's amazing to win an event like this. It's one of the bestevents in the world for any pro junior surfer."
