Snowboarder Jeremy Jones Goes Further

Snowboarder Jeremy Jones is taking his sport deeper, further, and higher. Jones and Teton Gravity Research have announced the start of the next film in the trilogy of the snowboard videos — Deeper, Further, Higher. First there was Deeper in the fall of 2010, which featured Jones, Jonaven Moore, Travis Rice and Xavier De Le Rue, who all ventured to Alaska, France, and Antarctica. Deeper snatched up some awards at the Backcountry Film Festival, Banff, and Wild and Scenic Film Festivals. Seems like Deeper will give Travis Rice's film The Art of Flight some competition for the best boarding flick.

Next, the boarding world will get a look at Further, set to come out in the fall of 2012, with footage from Japan and Norway's arctic circle. Riders include Forrest Shearer and Josh Dirksen. Although footage from the crew's travels has yet to be release, you can check out some photos from Jones' time spent filming in Japan.
