Getting Around: Single-engine airplanes are an easy way to hop around a country with an underdeveloped road system. A one-way flight to Ambergris Caye on Tropic Air costs about $55 per person. For those up for a different sort of adventure, numerous car-rental companies are located in Belize City; a four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended.
