With his 30th birthday now two weeks behind him, Chris Sharma doesn't seem to have slowed down at all. On Thursday, the climber successfully linked two 5.15 routes--one of them a 5.15b first ascent--in a single day.

The takedown began after Sharma had already warmed up and unsuccessfully attempted Chaxiraxi, the route recently opened by Adam Ondra, Sharma's girlfriend Daila Ojeda wrote on her blog. Sharma then turned his attention to his long-time project Fight or Flight (5.15b) and managed to send the line.

As the afternoon waned, Sharma was psyched enough to make one last attempt on Chaxi, the 5.15a route that climbs the upper part of Chaxiraxi, and made it to the chains without falling.

Fight or Flight is Sharma's second 5.15b in as many weeks. On April 19th, Sharma sent his much-publicized project First Round First Minute after two years of work.
