Before you guffaw at the $178.50 price tag, consider that the pink number above was signed by World Champion climber Sasha DiGiulian and that 90 percent of profits from the boulderer's brassiere went to a good cause and that Brandi Chastain's autographed bras go for almost double that amount when sold for profit by a sports memorabilia company.

The Keep a Breast Foundation put DiGiulian's pink top up on EBay a little over a week ago. Seven days later, on Friday April 13, bidding closed with k**e taking it for a price of $178.50, plus shipping and handling. The online battle for the bra went back and forth 34 times between bidders, but k***e's ninth bid proved definitive.

The Keep a Breast Foundation has auctioned off more than 200 bras from famous sports personalities to raise funds so they can promote breast cancer awareness in young women. Their goal is to increase early breast cancer detection, and hopefully, save lives. One out of every eight women will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime and more than $13 billion is spent on breast cancer treatment and research in the U.S. annually—which is all to say the answer to the title question above is simply no.
