Sierra Designs Baku 3 - Tents

At less than five pounds, the Baku 3 is one of the lightest true three-person tents we've seen. A trio of testers shared the Baku at a campsite alongside the Grand Canyon's Cottonwood Creek, and there was no bumping elbows, thanks to an airy interior and a 42-square-foot floor. Amazingly, the hybrid design—incorporating both single- and double-wall construction—allows the Baku to squeeze in two doors and two vestibules, making it a Taj Mahal for a pair of campers. 4.9 lbs;

Bonus: Two simple quick-clip poles (plus a stubby cross-pole) make the Baku a speedy pitch for its size.

Bummer: Ventilation simply isn't adequate for three; we experienced dripping walls even in arid Arizona.
