Wenger Chasseral – Sleeping Bags: Reviews

Need a three-season and a summer-weight bag but can't afford both? Sidestep the decision with the Chasseral. If conditions are too warm, simply zip off the topsheet, which folds into its own stash pocket, creating a ready-made camping-size pillow. And although the Chasseral is the roomiest bag here, it isn't a shapeless sack. The trapezoidal footbox makes for a comfy fit, and it's stuffed with some of the most durable and clump-resistant synthetic insulation on the market (Climashield XP). Note: With the topsheet on, the bag is supposedly rated to 10 degrees, but testers found it's more like a 25-degree bag. Even so, the Chasseral is a solid value for two bags in one. 10°–40°, 3.9 lbs; wengerna.com
