Lunch-hour hikes. Mountain-bike rides. Long trail runs. At 600 cubic inches, the Fluid 10 is just big enough to fit the essentials—shell, camera, lunch, etc.—without any wasted space. The light, ridged polypropylene framesheet gives it some stability (and a bit of ventilation) without adding too much bulk or weight. But it was the little things—like the quick-access, fleece-lined pocket for sunglasses or a phone, and the easily adjustable external bungee cord—that made the Fluid our favorite little pack this year. 1.3 lbs;
Versatility: 4.8
Comfort: 4.2
