Rome Notch: Snowboard Reviews

The best compliment this snowboard received from our testers: "This is a powder champ that doesn't need to sit in the closet until the big snows come." The keys to its versatility are Kevlar plates, which transfer energy to the edges for powerful turns on groomers, and bands of carbon beneath the bindings that add pop. That said, it's even more fun in the softer stuff. The tapered shape combined with extended front rocker make this thing float like a dream. And testers especially loved the extra lift on the tail, which helps initiate surf-style cutbacks. It only comes in three large sizes (158, 162, and 164) making it the perfect powder addition to any quiver.
