The Sell: A new POV camera that challenges the competition.

The Test: Until now, Drift’s action cams have taken a backseat to the slimmer Contours and GoPros of the world. But at just over four ounces, the redesigned HD is lighter than both rivals. And while the new Contour+ has GPS and a better lens, the HD costs $130 less, and the 1080p footage was nearly as good. Intuitive controls also make it an easier camera to get the hang of.

The Verdict: A user-friendly camera at a decent price. Video Quality: 4. Ease of Use: 3.5.
