As video technology advances and cameras get smaller, we want to record more of the world around us. Kogeto's DOT, a 360-degree panoramic camera attachment for iPhone 4/4s lets you film everything in front, behind, and all around you. The free Looker app lets you email, tweet, or post the video to Facebook or kogeto.com, where you can grab and rotate the screen to change the direction of the view, or switch to panoramic widescreen mode. At 2.5 ounces, the lens disappears into your pack and conveniently reappears for those sweeping summit photos. The company says they will also soon release inverted recording software that will let people watch the video on the phone screen as they shoot. Look for an Android version in June.
