Why They're CoolOK, the prisms in the new Conquest line don't quite match the light transmission of four-figure Zeisses, but these suckers cost $600. You still get anti-reflective lens coatings that deliver terrific brightness and dead-on color rendition. » For 10x binos, they're exceptionally easy to hold, even during prolonged viewing, as when studying inhabitants of B.C.'s Khutzeymateen Grizzly Bear Sanctuary. They're big enough to not exaggerate hand movement, yet exceptionally lightweight (16.4 ounces) for their size. » Few manufacturers even hint at impact resistance; Zeiss touts it, and backs it up with a transferable lifetime warranty. Your heirs will enjoy the same view you did.

Hmmm . . .At 288 feet, the field of view is narrow, even for 10x glasses.
