A tourist in Yellowstone National Park filled out a Xanterra Parks and Resorts visitor comment sheet to complain that the bears in the park are not trained to appear for park visitors. The note, posted to Reddit by an alleged friend of a Xanterra employee, reads:

"Our visit was wonderful but we never saw any bears. Please train your bears to be where guests can see them. This was an expensive trip to not get to see bears.

A veteran hiker in Yellowstone was recently mauled to death by a mother grizzly. Park rangers encourage visitors to keep their distance from wild animals in the park and offer information sessions about how to avoid bears and what to do if you come into contact with one.
