Kayaker Lands a First Descent on Raymondskill Falls

Raymondskill Falls is the crown jewel of whitewater kayaking in the Delaware Water Gap of Pennsylvania. At a combined 150 feet, the three-tiered waterfall is the tallest in the state (by comparison, Niagra Falls is 167 feet). For years, kayakers have rappelled into the pool above the middle tier and run the middle section. In June 2016, kayaker Jared Seiler ticked off the top section of the falls, claiming the first descent. Watch as Seiler recaps the spontaneous run in this video from Adam Nawrot.
