    The Outdoor Program Cooperative was born in 1967 and all students are members. The OP provides information, gear rentals, resources, trips, events and clinics to get students outside. Check out our complete list of the top 25 colleges for Outside readers.

  • Weekly Trips

    Weekly Trips

    The OP organizes a variety of trips throughout the year locally and nationally. Trips are posted week-to-week and anyone can join in.

  • Trip Initiators

    Trip Initiators

    Anyone can lead a trip as a Trip Initiator after taking a two-part clinic. Unlike other courses, the OP clinic focuses on leadership and cooperative philosophy rather than certification or training.

    The Bike Loan Programs lets students loan a commute-ready bike for a day or term. They even have DIY repair workshops.

  • Wilderness Survival

    The Wilderness Survival course is the gateway into the university's other outdoor courses and teaches the basics of outdoor ethics, survival and navigation.
