I’m a smartphone addict. I probably haven’t made eye contact with another human being in the four years I’ve owned one, except for the handful of times when its batteries ran out. Even my kids now know that the only way we can truly communicate is by texting or through Skype. My loss of social skills is your gain, though, because I can impart my knowledge of travel apps to you. These are the ones I trust most.

I love TripIt! I find it a great way to keep track of all of my reservations. For all those places I plan to go which don't require reservations, I use near2there. It's an iPhone app for keeping track of all of the places you want to go. www.near2there.com

I’ve been using Tripit and really enjoying all the information I can receive about the different cities I need to travel too. Flight Track Pro has definitely saved me a few times when I have to be at a Dish meeting and a delayed flight cost me my connection. Those are stressful times and I’ve found an app for eliminating stress too because frequent travel is stressful enough. Whenever I need to relax, I whip my Dish Remote Access app that I have on my iPad since it gives me access to movies in my programming and all my content at home on my DVR. To me a good movie is the perfect stress reliever. There are some great apps out there and sites like this one are a great place to start.
