Trango Tower Mammut
On July 30, Mammut pro David Lama stood with Peter Ortner and Corey Rich on the summit of the 6,251-meter Trango Tower in Pakistan after completing the Eternal Flame route over 10 hours. The ascent was part of Mammut's anniversary project, which was documented in both photos and video.

The Eternal Flame route, opened by Wolfgang Gullich and Kurt Albert in 1989, is considered one of the toughest routes over 5,000 meters.

While the climb—and others following it—were documented using traditional hand-held cameras, Mammut also sent a backpack-sized drone, seen here, to act as a fourth pair of eyes and capture breathtaking pictures and video.
