Uh, apparently ya'll aren't reading the ski reports for "Early Season" as Wolf Creek has already logged 100 inches so far this season with a 58 inch base at the summit and 47 inches at mid-way. NO MANMADE SNOW!

Flag ThisI am not highly versed in skiing but I have heard from many people that Wolf Creek in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, is a great resort. I skied there about four years ago and enjoyed it immensely. It is not expensive, the snow was fluffy and there were virtually no crowds with enough runs to keep the moderate skier happily occupied.
Flag ThisBest Powder - "Squaw Valley." Really???
Flag ThisYep - this list looses credibility when Squaw Valley has best powder. I'm a California skier and dream about powder days at ALTA or anywhere in the Wasatch.
Flag ThisI laughed when I read you're comment Hank. As I read down the list.... I said the exact f'ing thing
Flag ThisI guess you have never heard of Sierra cement? That's a kind way of refering to Squaw Valley's often moisture laden snow.

Flag ThisIronically, Outside Magazine is skiing at Wolf Creek right now. I'm not joking. Check their facebook page. This article was clearly written to highlight whoever gives them the most money.
Flag ThisKirkwood. That's all that needs to be said.
Flag ThisEver heard of Baker or Hood? Fail article.

Flag ThisBest snow/cold smoke meaning the kind that flies 20ft. up in the air from 1 turn resides in Montana in late Jan.! Squaw valley??? What? Could not be farther from the truth! There no such thing as real flurfy powder in Cal. sorry!
Flag ThisKeep Squaw on the Best Powder list and Kirkwood off it entirely. Just sayin'.....
Flag ThisWait.... have you been to the east coast lately? Blizzard streak my a**
Flag ThisIt almost seems as if the writers opinions may have been swayed by "benefits" from certain ski resorts.
