Author of the national bestseller Born to Run, Mcdougall lives in southern Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters. In addition to his work for Outside, McDougall has written for Esquire, The New York Times, and Men's Journal. McDougall is also the guest editor of The Best American Sports Writing 2014.
