Al Gore Speaks at Copenhagen

Al Gore addressed the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen today, saying that there's no time to waste in taking action, Grist.org reports. He calls for the U.S. Senate to pass a climate change bill by April 22, 2010, which is the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. He also calls for the next UN Climate Change Conference to take place in July, instead of the currently scheduled December 2010 meeting in Mexico. Check out more of Gore's green thoughts in Outside's December issue.
