Chris Davenport in Antarctica

Chris Davenport, the pro who skied all 54 of Colorado's fourteeners in a year, is on to the next big project: Antarctica. At the moment, he and a team of skiers are cruising around the icy continent in a 75-foot boat with enough muscle to navigate through icebergs. Whiteouts, climbing 60-degree couloirs, dodging crevasses, and skiing mid-boot powder (and variable crap) are just the start... Read the gripping play by play on Davenport's blog
