Woman Speeds Through English Channel Swim

Congratulations to Laurin Weisenthal of Huntington Beach, CA, who just swam the English Channel in one of the fastest times in history. Weisenthal, 25, made the swim from England to France in just 8 hours and 33 minutes; many of the 1,000 people who have completed the swim take well over ten hours, according to the OC Register. Read about Laurin's experience on her blog, LaurinSwim.com.
