Firearms Allowed in National Parks Beginning This Week
The ban on firearms in the national parks has been lifted as of yesterday. Visitors must still comply with all state laws regarding their firearms, but this is a big day for those who have advocated to carry weapons in parks.

About time. No reason you shouldn't have the ability to protect yourself out in the woods...

Flag ThisI agree, it is about time. Attacks on hiker/campers are on the increase. A lone female hiker was killed on the AT in Georgia several years ago.
