And we thought golf was safe. A golfer in Irvine, California recently set a 25-acre fire when taking a swing in the rough, Yahoo News reports. His club struck a rock during the stoke, sending sparks into the flammable grass.

It took 150 Orange County firefighters with helicopter backup to put out the blaze, the Shady Canyon Golf Course general manager Steven Buck told the AP.

The lesson? Be careful in the rough stuff.
