Lindsey Vonn Injured in Giant Slalom

One of the country's heralded Olympic hopefuls, skier Lindsey Vonn, nearly broke her left arm in a crash in a GS race in Lienz, Austria on Monday. Turns out it's "just" microfractures and a bone bruise, which may slow her down for a few days. She'll make the call as to whether she can compete in a splint just before Tuesday's planned slalom race. The crash didn't affect her standings as the women's alpine skiing World Cup leader.
