Miles of Ocean on the Big Screen

The San Francisco Ocean Film Festival runs February 3 through 7. You can check out the happenings at Pier 39. There are 50 films in the festival this year, and screenings include The Cove and the world premier of Isla Holbox, Whale Shark Island, a doc about whale sharks and their relationship to a fishing community transitioning into an ecotourism destination. You can buy tickets and check out the films at oceanfilmfest.org.
