Ryan Hall Pulls Out of Chicago Marathon
Ryan Hall, the American marathon star, has pulled out of the Chicago Marathon. Hall wrote on his blog today that he has canceled all races for the rest of 2010 due to extreme fatigue.
As Mike Kessler wrote in the October issue of Outside, Hall, 28, was hoping to win the October 10 marathon, "becoming the first American-born man to take that race since 1982" and "smash the American marathon record."
Hall will be in Chicago during marathon weekend to participate in the weekend's other events.
Read more about Hall's career and what makes him tick in Outside's profile.
