K2 and the Rolling Stones Hit the Slopes

K2RollingStonesSkiImage

You can't always get what you want, but you can get a pair of limited edition Rolling Stones themed K2 Sideshow skis if you're fast. To mark their respective 50th anniversary celebrations, K2 and The Rolling Stones have collaborated on the ultimate rock and roll tribute skis: The K2 Rolling Stones Limited Edition Ski Collection. The all-terrain, 90-mm underfoot Sideshows, the first of four Rolling Stones skis, will be available starting November 15.

K2 worked with the band to create four skis with iconic and quintessential Stones graphics: lips and tongue, the band’s original concert set list, lyrics and rare pics. The ski bases are emblazoned with the iconic Rolling Stones Lip and Tongue and the K2 logo.

But wait, there's more. The powers that be at K2 are so stoked on the Stones skis, they're planning "many unique and exciting products and promotions...in commemoration of [the company's] 50th anniversary.” But they won't tell us what they are... yet. Stay tuned for more. Available November 2011, $875, k2skis.com
