On Thursday October 8th, French climber Alain Robert scaled Paris's 499-foot Tour Ariana with nothing more than two chalk bags, some climbing shoes, and the clothes on his back, according to Rock and Ice Magazine. Luckily, someone at the scene got video of the 47-year-old climbing the defense building.

Robert was arrested at the top, of course, but he should be used to it by now. He has climbed over 90 of the tallest buildings in the world, including: the Eiffel Tower, the Grande Arche at La Defense, the New York Times Building, the Empire State Building, etc... and generally for charity.

If you're curious, you can learn more about Alain Robert at his website, www.alainrobert.com/
