In case you haven't noticed, May is National Bike Month, and with it comes a slew of annual bike lists. Here's a quick round-up of some of the best lists so far.

The League of American Bicyclists released its 2012 Bicycle-Friendly States Rankings. Washington wins again and Arkansas comes in last.

Bicycling ranks America's Top 50 Bike Friendly Cities. Portland wins for many reasons, including the fact that it's the only city given a platinum rating by The League of American Bicyclists.

Bloomberg has listed the bike-to-work rates of 25 American cities. Portland wins with 5.44 percent of its total workforce pedaling to work. That's roughly double the percentage of the number two city, San Francisco.

Adventure Ethics ranks the top 10 Outside Bike Towns using our Best Towns tool. The place where we test our rigs gets the nod.

If you're thinking of debating any of the results with friends, we suggest one of these bike-friendly bars or 10 races as a venue.

Want to see how your city compares to the rest of America in terms of percentage of commuters, miles of bike lane, or percentage of bike commuters who are female? Go here.
