Video: Norwegian Ski Team Dances in Racing Suits

With many of the U.S. Olympians taking themselves rather seriously these days, this video is a refreshing change of tone: Norwegian alpine ski team members dance to Michael Jackson's "Beat It" on the top of a snowy mountain...in matching spandex, ski boots, and helmets. I think Norway just got a lot cooler.

While I was skiing in the 3 Valleys, a small child walking innocently with her parents was killed when an out of control helmet wearing skier headbutted her in a collison. There is no doubt that helmets protect the wearer from head injury, but they can, as this tragic and freakish case proves, cause the death of an innocent parties. As several other people have commented, skiers should ski within their capabilities and slow down when in close proximity of others
