danner is also making alot of boots for our troops. we need to support companies that make products in the united states of america. support your fellow americans. i have my 2nd pair of danner mtn lights, i've been wearing them since the early 1980's. i bought them also to protect my feet from the blm adopted burro i have been hiking with since 1990! if she steps on my hoof it is reasonably protected with these all leather made in the u.s.a. boots!
I could not agree more with the "original" snowshoe. I have one of the last, Michigan made snowshoes - IVERSON. Not only are they cool. They work great.
I've seen those Stanley bottles in stores like Eddie Bauer. They have a big label bragging about being an American Classic. I guess the only real change is that they are made in China.
