Win a $6,000 Custom Made Frame Set!

Outside senior editor John Bradley is taking his cycling obsession to chafed levels by accepting "The Crazy Bet," a challenge from the bike-apparel company Rapha to ride perhaps the two hardest amateur races in France on consecutive days. On July 5th, he'll race in the Marmotte—109 miles and 16,404 feet of climbing in the Pyrenees—then fly to the Alps for the start the next day of l'Etape du Tour—105 miles and approximately 14,000 more feet of climbing. Check out his blog, where he'll detail his workouts with Slipstream trainer Allen Lim; team up with sponsors like Rapha, Saris, Garmin, and Independent Fabrications (who will be giving away that $6,000 frame set), dispense gear and training advice, and maybe cry a little.
