Mickey Rourke: World's Fastest Man?

Claims he outkicked Usain Bolt

By:

Mickey Rourke is faster than Usain Bolt, according to Mickey Rourke. The 59-year-old actor claims he beat the World’s Fastest Man in a 30-meter race outside a Central London nightclub earlier this year. A few qualifiers: it was 4 a.m., Rourke had been drinking, and Bolt gave him a four-step head start. "It was just that time of the night, you know, when anything can happen,” said the star of 1986's Nine 1/2 Weeks. “So I went up to him and I said, 'Come on, you are the world's fastest man, let's go.'” Rourke maintains he went on to win “by a few inches". Bolt will run the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay for Jamaica in London. Rourke did not qualify for any Olympic events.
