DeChristopher Can't Do Social Justice Work

Climate activist and newly-released prisoner Tim DeChristopher has given up his job at a Salt Lake City Unitarian church after the Federal Bureau of Prisons barred him from social justice work. DeChristopher, who is serving out the remainder of his two-year sentence in a halfway house, had planned on working in the church's social justice ministry. "The Bureau of Prisons official who interviewed Tim indicated he would not be allowed to work at the Unitarian church because it involved social ... Read More

IOC to Suspend India From Olympics

The IOC suspended India’s Olympic Committee earlier today after government interference with its election process, according to two anonymous officials. But it seems they failed to wipe the photo's GPS data, which a hacker on Twitter noticed pinpoints him at a location in eastern Guatemala. McAfee, who is wanted in connection with the shooting death of a... Read More

Ligety won his race by 1.76 seconds, wrapping up his second win in as many giant slalom races this season. “It's great winning in front of the home crowd, especially by that kind of margin,” said Ligety, who took home a gold medal in combined at t...
