At OluKai, we build premium products for the ocean lifestyle. Our footwear is created using the highest quality materials and crafted into beautiful, functional, and incredibly comfortable designs that reflect the spirit of the ocean lifestyle we all enjoy. Our company philosophy is to be environmentally responsible as manufacturers and actively support and work for a clean environment and better quality of life.

We offer Surf Wednesdays, when employees can come in late, because we want everyone to get out to the beach and surf or paddle on Wednesdays. In addition, we also have a bring your dog to work policy everyday.

OluKai is very laid back and flexible in regards to daily work schedules. We trust our employees will manage their work and achieve deadlines at their own pace. At OluKai, employees and their families are number one. We go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our employees should a family emergency arise.

Our company and employees sponsor and support through financial means the Maui Cultural Lands, Hawaii's Junior Lifeguard Program, Team KamakakoaHawaiian Sailing Canoe Association, Orangewood Children's Home, Surfaid International's relief fund and Toys for Tots.

We work directly with our factories, without agents or sourcing groups. This means our founders and senior management personally inspect our factory partners up to six times a year. This includes conducting a comprehensive responsibility review every quarter to assess people, health, safety, attitude, and environment. We strive to reduce our environmental footprint by using natural latex gum rubbers, 100-percent recycled packaging printed with soy-based inks, and we source leathers from ISO-14001-compliant tanneries.
