Very interesting. Liked art work also
Flag ThisWhat about Doug Tompkins?
Flag ThisIan Adamson o Kilian Jornet
Flag ThisNo Dean K? Karno tops several of those.
Flag ThisSince I've never heard of 2/3 of these people, I'm naturally dubious as to how much they're influencing me.
Flag ThisIf you want to include the person who is the largest land owner in the world, you surely have to add Queen Elizabeth II to your list. Think of all those millions of people in countries around the world unknowlingly traipsing across her land, whilst enjoying the best of the great outdoors.
Flag ThisI personally think Laird Hamilton should make the list
Flag ThisLaird Hamilton deserves a spot
Flag ThisKen Salazar??? You're kidding, right?
Flag ThisKen Salazar??? You're kidding, right?
Flag ThisHaving Ken Salazar on this list is like having George bush on a list of ten most influential people in the middle east
Flag ThisEver hear of a guy named Ted Turner?
Flag ThisEver heard of a cat by the name of Ted Turner?!
Flag ThisEver heard of a cat by the name of Ted Turner?!
Flag ThisToo many unknown Americans on this list... The editors should have looked a bit further than the USA and Western Europe.. There's a big wide world out there.
Flag ThisNo Ed Viesturs? Top 10 easily. Please recall this list and revise.
Flag ThisWhy not Jimmy Chin? He not only DOES (see recent Mt. Meru climb with Conrad) but he brings it to the rest of us by way of his incredible, bad-ass photography.
Flag ThisYeah I'd say Ken Salazar is pretty influential: Since the guy apparently advocates for Wilderness Groups who's mission is to close access to all but hikers and horseback riders. No bicycles allowed. No anything else allowed. I'd say if people knew a little more details about who pulls the strings they might realize a vote for certain parties is actually a vote for their own access being lost.
Flag ThisWho the hell are these people? Guess i'm too busy outside to care.
Flag ThisHow about Richard Louv?
