Easy to do - look in the southern sky in the evening any time during the winter. Look for Orion's triple-star sash. There he is, bow raised, legs bent, followed by the "Dog Star" Sirius to the left. Is that a sword hanging from his belt? No, it's the famous "Orion Nebula".
