The video won't playwhat's wrong?
All of the videos featured on Outside Online are streamed using Adobe's Flash Player technology and require that your system meet the following requirements:
Adobe Flash Player 8.0 (or higher)
Windows 2000 or higher with latest updates installed
Mac OS X 10.3 or higher

Why does the video keep stopping and starting while I'm watching it?
If a video doesn't play continuously, it may be due to your connection speed. You'll need a broadband connection (500 Kbps or greater) for the best viewing experience. It's also possible that our servers are experiencing high traffic demands, which sometimes affects the speed. If this is the case, rest assured that we are continuously adding servers to keep up with demand. Thanks for hanging in there with us as we continue to grow.
Why can't I hear the audio when I'm watching a video?
To make sure that you hear sound while watching videos, please check the volume controls on your computer. Also, be sure to increase the volume on the other video players that are installed on your computer, such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, or Apple Quicktimeas these applications may be controlling your computer's master volume levels. Next, check if your system meets the following requirements, as they are essential to viewing video on Outside Online:
Adobe Flash Player 8.0 (or higher)
Windows 2000 or higher with latest updates installed
Mac OS X 10.3 or higher
Firefox 1.5 (or higher), Internet Explorer 8.0 (or higher), or Safari 1.0 (or higher)

If your system meets all the requirements, but the video player still isn't working properly, please try troubleshooting with a different browser. Also, please test the audio on multiple videos.

What is RSS?
Don't be put off by the acronym. It's short for "Really Simple Syndication," and it's a really fast, efficient Web tool that lets you collect your favorite Web content in one place. Instead of constantly checking for when our next podcast is posted you'll have regularly updated info right at your fingertips.
How do I access RSS?
First, you'll need an RSS reader. Some readers, like Pluck and Sage, can be installed on your desktop to work with your Web browser. Others, like Newsgator, Bloglines, and Google Reader, are Web-based readers, so you don't have to download anything. Some popular Web portals like My Yahoo! also work as RSS readers.
How do I get RSS feeds?
Just open your RSS reader and add this link to your reader: http://outside.away.com/rss/video.xml
Will RSS cost me anything?
You can sign up for and download most readers without any charge.
